TriVita Health -- 20 Ways to Pamper Yourself

TriVita Health -- 20 Ways to Pamper Yourself

Do you find yourself caught up in the day-to-day grind?  Break out of the routine by treating yourself to some well-deserved pampering.  Here are 20 ideas to get you started.

Tune In
Listen to your favorite soothing music…or play something livelier and dance around your room!

Exercise
Although it doesn’t sound like pampering, exercise can make you feel better by releasing endorphins and reducing stress.

Order Dinner In
Don’t feel like cooking but don’t want to go out?  Order dinner in…you can even have a living room picnic.

Get Your House Cleaned
Hire someone to clean your house.  Not only will it add some sparkle, it will be that much easier to clean when you have to do it yourself next time.

‘Do It Up
Feel great all day when you start out with a salon cut and style.  Feel daring?  Try a new look or add some color.

Bubble Bath
Soak away your cares in a relaxing, warm bath.  Light some candles, dim the lights and enjoy!

Get A Massage
One of the best ways to relax is beneath the skilled hands of a massage therapist. Let your cares melt away!

Buy Yourself A New Outfit
Head to the mall and splurge on something that looks great on you.

Take A Nap
A cat nap is a great way to rejuvenate. Just don’t sleep too long; a 15-20 minute nap will do the trick.

Bike Ride
Hop on your bike and head out. Just don’t forget the helmet.

Tea Time
Go tea-tasting with friends and find a new favorite flavor.

Movie Night
Fix a big bowl of popcorn (easy on the butter!), kick back on the couch and pop in a movie.

Go For A Drive
Explore an area of town you’re unfamiliar with or take a ride in the country.

Journal
Write down your thoughts, write a poem...just write.  Taking time to reflect on life is one of the best ways to pamper yourself.

Organize Photos
Take some time to reminisce as you fill a photo album.

Read A Book
Find a quiet nook at home or head for the local coffee shop and immerse yourself in a different world.

Plan A Weekend Getaway
Short trips can be just what the doctor ordered. shorter, cheaper – and sometimes more fun.

Stargaze
Spread a blanket in the backyard and do some stargazing; use a star chart to pick out constellations.

Do Lunch
Treat yourself to lunch at your favorite restaurant.  Take a book or read the paper as you enjoy some alone time.

Call A Friend
Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while.  You’ll both appreciate it!  Above all, be creative with your pampering time!  You know yourself best (as well as your schedule and budget) so choose activities that will be a true indulgence – and will put some zest back in your life.
